Audio: Police Respond To Shooting At Aurora Premier Of Batman Rises
A two-minute excerpt from police radio conversations captures the chaos as emergency crews responded to the scene of the Aurora, Colo., shooting early Friday morning that left 12 dead and at least 50 wounded.
“We’ve got another person outside shot in the leg, a female” a woman in the recording says, franticly describing the scene. “I’ve got people running out of the theater that are shot, in room 9.”
A man adds that there is another victim in the parking lot, before another man asks for gas masks.
“Get us some damn masks for Theater Nine,” a man yells moments later. “We can’t get in it.”
