Address Labels
Address labels
Everyone seems to want money from me. I can’t tell you how many organizations every year solicit me for donations. I’m sure that some of you know exactly what I mean. I’m not even sure how they all got my personal information but they must all think that I have a neverending supply of money. And trust me, I don’t. I used to order address labels from the same company that I would get my checks from. However, since everyone has gotten my personal information, I no longer need to order address labels. I get different address labels almost monthly as a gift from someone who is soliciting my money. Some of the address labels are absolutely hideous, and others are really nice. I use all of them no matter what they look like.
I just got some Christmas themed address labels from this one organization that continues to send me all kinds of little freebies. I sometimes feel horrible because I keep everything that is sent to me, and I use it, but I don’t contribute. That makes me feel terrible but yet, I live from paycheck to paycheck. I can’t afford to make many donations. However, I have decided to send a small contribution of $20 to this organization, partly because I feel guilty about using the address labels and partly because it is a great organization. Of course, that also means that they will continue to solicit me constantly, if not even more often. That probably also means that I will be getting more address labels than I did before.
Address labels are great. I refuse to write my return address information on any piece of mail when I can easily just use address labels. My handwriting is not the greatest anyway, so anything I can do to get out of writing - I’m all about it. Most people have address labels these days anyway. And most businesses have address labels printed for their company as well. It makes life so much more convenient when you’re doing some bulk mailing for holidays or pleasure. It makes me wonder how I ever survived before discovering them.
If you’re ordering address labels, make sure you don’t pay too much. In fact, you can print out your own for cheaper if you feel like you’re spending too much money when ordering them. But, if you don’t have the time and means to print your own address labels, then just be sure you aren’t paying more than you need to be paying for purchasing address labels. Or, if you’re really cheap - wait for someone to mail you some.
